Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can damage any organ in the body and can cause life-threatening consequences. It’s estimated that 1.5 million people in America have lupus. The Lupus Foundation of America is an organization working to advance the science and medicine of lupus to find a cure and improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus. The 8th Annual Walk to End Lupus Now will take place on Sunday May 1st. Registration is at 1:00 and the walk begins at 3:00 on Centennial Campus at North Carolina State University.
