My daughter Sydney was recovering from pneumonia during Halloween. Although she was no longer in danger, her doctor still wanted her to remain inside. Well, Sydney LOOOVES Halloween, because that is her time to shine and be creative. She was so devastated that she was going to miss trick or treating with her friends. Well, her doctor told her the night before Halloween that she could trick or treat at the mall. Yes! Buuut, we did not have a costume and the many stores we went to that evening has sold out of all costumes in her size. But we did find face paint! Mom to the rescue! We took a pair of the footed pajamas, cut the foot off, hot glued puff balls down the zipper and around the legs, removed the lace from a wedding bouquet holder, blinged it out and glued the lace to the collar of the pajamas. Next we took the plastic holder, turned it upside down and made a blinged out hat, full of style and sass! Thus, Sydney the clown was born with her side kick Cheetah Momma! Sydney still claims that Halloween as one of the best nights of her life.
