Lava retired from the feline blood donor program at NCSU Vet School. I figured he’d done his duty and needed a good home. He’s adjusting to living in a household – something he’s never experienced before, since he was bred specifically for research. Everything is new and exciting to him, much like it would be for a kitten except he’s a full-grown four-year-old!
