The Carolina Panthers aren't the only ones to unveil a new logo today. What do you think of the new confessions logo?

The Carolina Panthers aren't the only ones to unveil a new logo today!! While Cam Newton reflects on  his first Pro Bowl experience in Hawai'i, the Panthers unveil a new look graphically.

** Did you notice the new Confessions of a Sportsaholic logo?  (wink) **

Now, the Panthers logo still has the classic feel to it - but it's more modern. I like it! 

No mention of changing the uniforms yet, but if I had my say - The Panthers would do away with the teal and play in menacing black and white with teal accents. Just think back to the Oregon Ducks uniforms, what if Carolina's helmets were reflective? There was some blogger chatter about a new uniform design, CLICK HERE to see what it would look like. But, please note the jury is still out on whether the Panthers look will change this drastically.The receiving gloves are hot- I guess NIKE has the football world on lock. These are Nike's concepts, but, we will have to wait and see if the Panthers move in this direction next season.

For NOW, we got a new logo and a new attitude. All Hail Cam Newton and Steve Smith - and Hawai'i's own Kealoha Pilares. (Who quietly had a spectacular rookie season too)

Here is a look at the evolution of the logo from PANTHERS.COM - Did you know that if you tilt the logo on its side it's the shape of the Carolinas? Pretty sick huh? 

2012-2013 will be a great season in Charlotte - The team will be fresh to death! Don't you think?
