NELSON FRANKLIN
(Adam on TRAFFIC LIGHT)

Native Angeleno Nelson Franklin has been acting for the past 11 years. Son of writer/director Howard Franklin, he started working on set at the tender age of 17, mastering various crucial arts such as coffee preparation and soda retrieval. He quickly moved on to assistant work, working for magician/actor Ricky Jay and producer Stuart Cornfeld.

After graduating in 2007 from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with an award for excellence from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, he began his career with a guest-starring role on “The Office” and a role in the feature film “I Love You, Man” opposite Paul Rudd and Jason Segel. Additional credits include a recurring role on Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” and a return to “The Office” for an additional four episodes, marking the only time an actor has appeared on the series as two different characters.

Franklin’s film credits include “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” opposite Michael Cera. He will next be seen in “Waiting For Forever” with Richard Jenkins and Rachel Bilson and “Trivial Pursuits” with Chris Parnell and Arielle Kebbel.

Franklin lives in his hometown of Los Angeles.
