BIO: David Denman

David Denman is best known as “Roy,” the third leg of the “Jim” and “Pam” love triangle on “The Office.”

Denman made his big-screen debut alongside Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman in the football comedy “The Replacements.” His other feature credits include “Fair Game” starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn; “Shutter” opposite Joshua Jackson and Rachael Taylor; “Smart People” with Dennis Quaid and Sarah Jessica Parker; and Tim Burton’s Academy Award-nominated “Big Fish” with Ewan McGregor and Albert Finney. Denman has also appeared in “Fan Boys,” “The Nines,” “Take,” “Out Cold,” “The Singing Detective” and the remake of “When A Stranger Calls.” He will next be seen in “Let Go” with Ed Asner, Gillian Jacobs and Kevin Hart.

He recently appeared on the hit cable series “Drop Dead Diva” as the lead character’s love interest. Additional television credits include “Brothers & Sisters,” “In Plain Sight,” “Gary Unmarried,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Without A Trace,” BONES, “Crossing Jordan,” “CSI: Miami,” “The X-Files,” “ER” and “Arli$$,” as well as recurring roles on “Second Time Around” and “Angel.” Additionally, Denman has been seen in the miniseries “The ‘60s,” as well as in the made-for-TV movies “The Perfect Husband: The Laci Peterson Story” and “A Vow To Cherish.”

In addition to his numerous film and TV roles, he is an avid fan of Shakespeare, having performed in over a dozen productions.

Growing up all over Southern California, Denman attended eight different schools along the way. After graduating from Fountain Valley High School, Denman attended the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco before receiving his bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School.

He currently resides in Los Angeles with his dog, a Great Dane named Gertrude.
