He was a amateur. He hadn't worked in a restaurant since becoming a stay at home dad. Plus the rule is as long as you aren't a chef(mostly a chef de cuisine), or your MAIN income isn't from cooking(ie part time) then you qualifies. I then the rules are fair. But yeah I am glad he didn't win.

I'm glad that this arrogant a**hole lost. I didn't really care who won as long as it wasn't him. I just read that worked as a cook in Gloucester. I thought that this competition was for amateurs only. He seem to be of low enough character to cheat. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Well, his skill with food is superior, only Derrick and Adrien are on similar level. He is confident, he is pursuing his dream passionately, he is arrogant, but with little bruising shall become great chef.

chronic rage? If the guy backs it up with what he cooks and if the judges said on episode 1 he could win masterchef I would not say he can't win.

Christian, I don't think fox will wants a "Stay at Home Father" that experiences chronic rage to be the image of their next MasterChef. Maybe you should have thought of that before filming began. So you obviously didn't win. I'm placing bets Ben Starr is the winner of season 2.
