He made a name for himself with such roles as “Will” on “Party of Five” and “Dr. Morris” on the long-running drama “ER.” In 2001, Grimes starred as “Malarkey” in the critically acclaimed miniseries “Band of Brothers.”
Grimes’ film credits include “Mystery, Alaska” opposite Russell Crowe, “Crimson Tide,” “Nightlife,” “Critters” and “Critters 2.”
In 2005, Grimes released the album “Livin’ on the Run.” The single “Sunset Blvd” became a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, and the title track, “Livin’ on the Run,” also reached the charts.
Grimes lives in Los Angeles.
