Attorney: Dina Lohan ‘Sadly Disappointed’ In ‘Glee’ & Gwyneth Paltrow - ARTICLE

An attorney for Dina Lohan is speaking out regarding Tuesday’s episode of “Glee,” which featured guest-star Gwyneth Paltrow mocking Lindsay Lohan’s multiple trips to rehab.

“Dina Lohan and her three other children are very sadly disappointed with the [‘Glee’] writers, and also disappointed that a huge celebrity such as Gwyneth Paltrow, would relay such a message about a contemporary,” Stephanie Ovadia, attorney for Dina Lohan and her children, told Access Hollywood on Thursday.

During Tuesday night’s episode, Gwyneth’s substitute teacher character, Holly Holiday, attempted to teach her students Spanish by reciting sentences about Lindsay’s trips to rehab, calling her “loca.”

When asked if the family intends to take legal action against the hit FOX series, Ovadia told Access that, as of now, a course of action has not been discussed, but that she will be speaking with Dina this weekend.

Ovadia has worked on behalf of the Lohans in the past – she represented the family in their lawsuit against E*Trade for the company’s Super Bowl commercial featuring a “milkaholic” baby named Lindsay. A confidential settlement was eventually reached between the respective parties involved.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Lindsay is currently receiving treatment at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., where she is expected to stay until early January.

She can stand under his “Umbrella” any day! Matthew Morrison is gushing over his recent “Glee” co-star, Gwyneth Paltrow.

“Gwyneth Paltrow is a genius,” Matthew said, at an In Add Minus event in Los Angeles on Thursday. “Who knew that she was such a triple threat? Great dancer, great singer, obviously a great actress — I just had the best time.”

Gwyneth appeared on hit FOX series on Tuesday, playing fun-loving substitute teacher Holly Holiday. The Oscar-winning actress performed a rousing version of Cee Lo Green’s hit, “Forget You,” then joined Matthew for a splashy mash-up of Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” and the timeless “Singin’ in the Rain.”

“Our set is kind of like a playground — especially [for] the ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ number,” Matthew said, of filming the aquatic-themed track with Gwyneth on a water-filled stage. “We were just having so much fun like, splashing each other, getting each other wet. It was fun!”

Matthew, 32, who got his start on Broadway, has been making fans swoon since his 2009 “Glee” debut, and his charming appeal was made official this week when he earned a spot on People’s Sexiest Man Alive list.

“I don’t know how to think about it,” Matthew said of his new honor. “People think I’m sexy, I guess… Cool, I guess? I don’t know — it’s a little embarrassing!

“I thank my parents for this,” he laughed.

Beals has a new gig as a hard-nosed cop in the upcoming FOX drama, “Ride-Along.” It’s a role that gives her a chance to get physical, she reveals to More. The actress, who has competed in triathlons, now gets to “brandish a gun and subdue suspects.” “I got to really clock someone the other day. I get to express rage, which women are often reluctant to do,” adds Beals.

Yet, living out her tough-girl fantasy is a far cry from the inner Beals. She describes herself as “spiritual.” She takes great pride in her lifelong journey to discover the meaning of life. Her friends describe her in the magazine article as “a woman who meditates, gives crystals as gifts and is interested in alternative medicine. “She knows everything about Tibetan herbs,” adds her good friend, actress Jodie Foster. As Jennifer sums it up, “The impulse to want to know God is, is still there,” she continues, “Whether it’s that moment in acting when everything is suspended and you’re not yourself, or breaking through the veil of a very long run or swim, or hearing my daughter laugh – they are all pathways to what I think God must be.”

She may be one of the most talented – and fit – news anchors on television, but Katie Couric won’t necessarily be donning a tiny outfit for “Glee.”

Despite the anchor’s Tuesday morning, straight-faced comments to several media outlets – including Access Hollywood – that she’d be donning a “little leotard” and a top hat when she makes her “Glee” debut, her rep said the “CBS Evening News” host was joking.

On Tuesday morning, at The Hollywood Reporter’s Power 100: Women In Entertainment Breakfast, Katie told Access of her “Glee” debut: “I have this huge number with the whole cast. It’s gonna be awesome.”

Katie added she’d be featured in an old-school Hollywood type production.

“It’s kind of a Busby Berkeley thing,” Katie said without a hint of sarcasm. “I’m gonna be wearing kind of a little leotard. I’m gonna have a cane and a top hat. It is gonna be awesome.”

Later in the day, however, her rep confirmed to Access that Katie was, in fact, joking. Katie hasn’t started filming her “Glee” episode just yet, the rep said. That process begins later on Tuesday, the rep added.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Katie will appear on the hit FOX show’s post-Super Bowl episode on February 6, 2011. Jane Lynch told Access on Sunday at the Trevor LIVE event that Katie would perform “Tea for Two” alongside Matthew Morrison, who plays McKinley High glee coach Will Schuester.

McKinley High’s Cory Monteith recently dubbed Gwyneth Paltrow’s “Umbrella / Singing In The Rain” performance, “one of the best dance numbers ever” on “Glee,” but Katie Couric told Access that she isn’t worried about competing with the Oscar winner when she makes her own debut on the show.

“Gwyneth who?” Katie joked when an Access Hollywood producer asked how her “Glee” number would stack up when compared to Gwyneth’s.
