Oxford, NC Family competing on FAMILY FEUD - Starting Today!
Los Angeles, CA – Family Feud host Steve Harvey and his no-holds-barred brand of comedy are back for an all-new season of America's favorite family competition. The Nunnally Family from Oxford, NC will face off against the Frey Family from Olympia, WA in front of a live studio audience in Atlanta, GA, with the chance to win up to $100,000 and a brand new car, along with some serious bragging rights. The show airs this TODAY at 9:00 am on FOX 50.
The Nunnally Family – which includes Hoyt Jr., a project manager; son Hoyt III, a restaurant manager; daughter Joi, a student; wife Karen, a teacher; and mother-in-law Ellain, who is retired – will be playing for big prize money plus a brand new car when they appear with the King of Comedy, host Steve Harvey. Since Harvey took over as host of the show, viewership has increased nearly 50% overall, and it's no wonder. Harvey brings down the house five days a week as he puts contestants on the spot and mines laughter from the crowd with every remark, gesture and eye roll he makes.
“We auditioned for ‘Family Feud’ to have some family fun, and as a bonus, to win some money,” said Karen. “If we win we will give 10% of the money to our church, save 10%, pay off some bills and blow the rest!”
Will Oxford’s Nunnally Family be able to win big on Family Feud? We can’t tell you, but viewers can tune in to see them trying their best to impress Steve Harvey beginning Monday, April 29.
One of the original Kings of Comedy, Harvey brings his ‘tell-it-like-it-is’ brand of humor to center stage where he keeps audiences in stitches for the show's 14th season, now airing throughout the country in national syndication. Families travel from all over the U.S. to compete for big cash prizes on the set of Family Feud, and enjoy a great bonding experience while they’re at it. When the show is over, fans can connect for breaking news on Twitter (@FamilyFeud), find outtakes and behind the scenes footage on YouTube (www.youtube.com/familyfeud) and even face off against friends and family on Facebook.
