Congressional leaders have finally started working on immigration reform.

One bi-partisan group of 8 House members is working on a bill. It looks like it will offer 3 different paths to legal status:

1st group: "Dreamers." Young immigrants who are in the country without permanent residence and low-skilled agricultural workers will be given an expedited process.

2nd group: People who can process through family-members or employment. Those people would have to return to their home country and learn English. They would have to pay fines and back taxes.

The rest would apply for "provisional legal status." They also would have to pay fines and back taxes plus learn English. After 10 yrs. they would be able to apply for permanent residence.

When immigration reform takes place - Araneda & Stroud can provide you excellent service with more than 20 yrs. of experience in immigration law.
