Cat Deeley CAT DEELEY
(Host of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE)

Birmingham, England native Cat Deeley is one of the U.K.’s foremost television presenters and personalities. She has firmly established herself as one of the hottest faces on TV in the U.S. following several successful seasons hosting SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Deeley was the first regular entertainment correspondent on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Good Morning America.”

In addition to being a double BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Award winner, Deeley has won many other awards for her work on some of the U.K.’s hottest primetime shows, including “Stars in Their Eyes,” “CD:UK” (on which she appeared weekly for six years), “SM:TV Live” (which she hosted for three years), “Comic Relief Does Fame Academy,” the “V Festival,” “Brit Awards,” “The Record of the Year,” “Elton John Live from New York,” “The Latin Grammy Awards” and the one-hour special, “When Cat Met U2.”

Deeley often lends her time to the Great Ormond Street Hospital, a children’s hospital in London, and divides her time between her homes in London and Beverly Hills.

Nigel Lythgoe is the co-founder of Big Red 2 Entertainment, a newly formed company with CEO of 19 Entertainment, Simon Fuller. Lythgoe most recently served as president of 19 Television, and prior to his tenure there, worked at London Weekend Television, where he was Controller of Entertainment and Comedy. Lythgoe became a household name in the U.K. as “Nasty Nigel,” the judge on “Popstars.”

Lythgoe is co-creator and executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning series SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. His other executive producer/co-creator credits include seven seasons of AMERICAN IDOL, as well as “Superstars of Dance.” While serving as the show’s executive producers, AMERICAN IDOL was nominated for 47 Emmy Awards, and in 2007, received the prestigious Governors Award, the Television Academy’s highest honor, for IDOL GIVES BACK, which he executive-produced. Lythgoe also served as producer and director of the acclaimed Céline Dion/Elvis Presley duet featured in the special.

Lythgoe, along with Adam Shankman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Katie Holmes, recently founded the Dizzy Feet Foundation, a nonprofit organization that will provide scholarships and assistance to talented underserved youth to help them realize their dreams of becoming professional dancers and will also help elevate and standardize dance instruction nationwide.

Mia Michaels

MIA MICHAELS
(Judge on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE)Two-time Emmy Award-winning and three-time Emmy-nominated choreographer Mia Michaels' credits include Cirque du Soleil's "Delirium," "West Side Story," "Hello, Dolly!," Celine Dion's "A New Day" and "Taking Chances World Tour," the American Music Awards, "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and working with pop superstars, including Madonna, Prince, Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan.

Michaels joined SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE in 2005 as a guest judge and contributing choreographer. She was honored with an Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography on a Television Series in 2007 for "Calling You" and again in 2009 for "Mercy."

The Florida native was born into a family of dancers. She began studying dance at age 2 with her father and her sister, and furthered her training at the Miami Conservatory, the Miami Performing Arts Center and Michigan's Interlochen Arts Academy.

Adam Shankman ADAM SHANKMAN

Adam Shankman is a master of comedy and one of the most-loved and commercially successful filmmakers of his generation. His credits include "The 81st Academy Awards"; "The Last Song" starring Miley Cyrus; "17 Again" starring Zac Efron; "Hairspray," the feature film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical; and "The Wedding Planner" starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey.

Prior to directing, Shankman was one of the premier dance and physical comedy choreographers for film, and choreographed music videos for Whitney Houston, The B-52's, Barry White, Aaron Neville, Chic and Stevie Wonder.

A native of Los Angeles, Shankman attended The Juilliard School, and began his career as an actor and dancer in New York.
