Working together to keep environmentally harmful end-of-life electronics out of local landfills, FOX 50 and Creative Recycling Systems are sponsoring an Electronics Collection Event on March 27, 10am to 2pm. Drop off your old electronics at one of three Home Depot parking lots.

 ***Home Depot is giving away trees at each location to the first 15 vehicles to drop off electronics***

 

This one day collection event is FREE to the public and is expected to divert thousands of pounds of electronics from the local solid waste stream. The collected material will be processed by Creative Recycling Systems of North Carolina. Using automated and state-of-the-art technology to responsibly handle end-of-life and surplus electronic equipment, CRS provides a true environmental solution for e-scrap.
