Olivia Munn is heading from “The Newsroom” to “New Girl.”

The actress and sometime TV host has signed on for a multi-episode arc on Zooey Deschanel’s FOX comedy, a rep for the network confirmed to Access Hollywood on Thursday.

Olivia will play Angie, the girlfriend of Jake Johnson’s Nick, Deadline first reported.

The website said Olivia’s character will be “earthy,” “charming” and “sexy.”

A FOX rep told Access the actress’ first episodes on the show are likely to begin airing in November.

“New Girl” kicked off its second season earlier this week.
