Music on the Lawn Returns with a Rootsy Roar

DURHAM - American Tobacco and FOX 50 continue their team up with WUNC-FM and its popular Back Porch Music series to deliver ten great shows, all FREE, at American Tobacco's amphitheater this Friday.

The 2010 series continues with local favorite Kickin' Grass this Friday, September 10 with The Gravy Boys.

The series wraps up October 8 with an All-Star Blues showcase. Full schedule listed here .

This year's schedule marks the first time Back Porch Music has booked all the acts for Music on the Lawn, lending the annual event a sharp focus on authentic, danceable roots music. Also for the first time, Whole Foods Market , presenting sponsor of the music series, will offer a fine selection of natural and organic food during each concert.
