Studies show today’s youth are faced with more challenges than ever—from teen violence and school shootings…to cyberbullying and suicide. But experts believe that character education and development could help combat these issues. Now the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has partnered with Capitol Broadcasting to launch a state-wide campaign called Character Matters.   This campaign is designed to address moral and ethical issues along with topics like Anti-Bullying, Suicide Prevention, Healthy, Responsible Decision-Making, Leadership Development, and Media Literacy.
