Event Description

Dr. Charles "Chuck" Davis and the African American Dance Ensemble presents Kwanzaafest 2014 "Rhythms of Life Everlasting" awareness to HIV/AIDS in our communities and honoring our Veterans. Kwanzaafest will be held on January 1, 2014 at the Durham Armory (220 Foster Street Durham, NC 27701) the doors will open at 12noon and the Program to begin at 1:00pm. Kwanzaa is FREE and opened to the public. All donated canned foods will be donated to CAARE, Inc. of Durham.

Performing will be: The African American Dance Ensemble, Connie McCoy Rogers of Cary, NC, Pat's Taborn Modeling Agency of Durham, NC, Elite Dance of Durham, Ezibu Muntu African Dance of Richmond VA, Stafford Berry and Kemal Nance, and Vernon Futrell of Seaboard, NC
