Raleigh, NC – Aloha! Welcome to Ka Pu'uwai 'O Hawai'i - The Hawai'i Club of North Carolina. Save yourself the 4790 miles to get your Aloha spirit back and join us at our 8th Annual Lu’au. The Lu'au was started in September 2006 and has become the club’s highlight event of the year.
The Lu’au on September 14 runs from 12:00 p.m. to dusk in Garner, NC, and is open to the public.
For more information about the Lu’au and the Hawaii Club, visit www.hawaiiclubnc.org.
Join us as we celebrate the Hawaiian culture through community and all things Hawaiian - food cooked in the traditional “imu” (translated as a Hawaiian style pig pickin’), along with other authentic dishes, live ukulele music, hula, and Hawaiian games.
Ka Pu'uwai 'O Hawai’i’s mission is to nurture an extended 'ohana to perpetuate the culture of Hawai'i and share the Aloha spirit.
Ka Pu'uwai 'O Hawai'i literally translates to "Heart of Hawai'i" or "Hawaiian Heart." We are a club of people who share a deep love and appreciation of Hawai'i and its culture, people, and spirit. Most of us were previous residents of Hawai'i or have family connections there; some just love Hawai'i. It's a wonderful extended family that has formed over the last few years!
