Event Description

This course series will focus on the essential jewelry techniques
and is a great place to start for the absolute beginner
metalsmith. Using non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass
and silver, we will cover sawing, soldering, filing, texturing,
stamping and much more. In the 2nd class, we will fabricate
a simple bezel to set a cabochon stone, using fine silver, and
sterling silver. Cut, solder and texture. A materials fee of $20
is payable to the instructor at class time (additional materials
will be available for purchase in class). A limited set of tools
will be available for use in class – students should bring any
of their own tools and supplies to use in class. Please check
the DAC website for additional supply list.
