Event Description

July is Blue Morpho Month!

This July we’re turning our Magic Wings Butterfly House blue! Join us all month long for an up-close look at one of the world’s largest and most beautiful butterflies as we release a thousand Blue Morpho butterflies into Magic Wings conservatory!

Enjoy a “total immersion” experience as you walk through our dramatic 35-foot tall conservatory surrounded by tropical butterflies and an exotic indoor rainforest. Witness the fascinating interaction of plant and animal species in a natural setting as giant blue butterflies feed on nectar-producing flowers and tropical fruit. You may even find that a Blue Morpho lands on you!

Watch as butterflies emerge from their chrysalises and join us for daily butterfly releases! Chat with our team of entomologists about the complete life cycle of a butterfly or ask our horticulturist about the tropical spice plants located throughout the conservatory.
