The basis of an effective grant application is to know your audience
and select and prepare content according to the grant maker’s
interests and requirements. This workshop will review the basic
elements required by most grant applications and how to optimize
your narrative and budget. The workshop will conclude with a panel
discussion of local grant makers, including the Durham Arts Council,
Orange County Arts Commission, North Carolina Arts Council and
North Carolina Dance Alliance. Be prepared to write a narrative for a
project you wish to get funded. $25 class fee. Pre-registration required.
