This is an introduction to using different types of glass for mosaics.
The workshop will include the design of functional and nonfunctional projects using new glass as well as recycled glass containers and available glass scraps. Types of glass available include stained glass, cast glass, glass tiles, recycled glass containers, mirror and found objects. Different types and methods of grouting the mosaics will be covered. A $20 supply fee is due to instructor. Glass available for purchase from the instructor. Bring an object to mosaic. Pre-registration required. $50 class fee.
