Footnotes Tap Ensemble, a professional non-profit adult tap company based in Chapel Hill, returns to the Carolina Inn as part of the Inn’s “Twelve Days of Christmas” celebration. Join us for a fun-filled, festive and lively evening of music, rhythm and tap!


Footnotes Tap Ensemble is a professional non-profit tap company founded in 2002 by Mimi Benjamin and Robin Vail. The Ensemble’s mission is to promote, educate and perform this truly unique American dance art through annual Ensemble Concerts, Community Concerts and tap workshops. The Ensemble continues to gain recognition throughout the Triangle and the tap community for its varied and highly acclaimed repertoire and affordable workshops teaching “classic tap.” Footnotes has performed extensively through out North Carolina as well as in Chicago, New York City and Charlotte.
