Event Description

Please join the National Humanities Center for an engaging public talk, “The Medieval Church as a School for Scandal,” on Nov. 8 at 5 p.m. Northwestern University Professor Dyan H. Elliot will share her research on how the medieval church handled scandals within the clergy, why they maintained such secrecy about the affairs and how it affects today’s modern church.

There will be a complimentary reception held after the lecture. All lectures and exhibits at the National Humanities Center are free and open to the public.
