Duke Holds Annual Free Prostate Cancer Screenings for Community

Event Description

One in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. Chances of survival increase significantly with early diagnosis and treatment.

Duke University Health System will be offering free prostate cancer screenings to men 40 years of age and older the weekend of September 15 and 16. No appointment is necessary for these screenings.

2012 marks Duke’s 24th year providing free prostate cancer screenings to the community.

This community service is offered through a partnership between Duke Division of Urology, Duke Cancer Institute Office of Health Equity and Disparities, and Lincoln Community Health Center.
