The Raleigh Ringers, an internationally-acclaimed handbell ensemble will present Holiday Concerts on Saturday, December 8 at 3:00 pm and 7:30pm and Sunday, December 9 at 3:00pm. The concerts will be held at Meymandi Concert Hall at the Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts under the direction of David M. Harris. This year’s concerts will include holiday favorites, several Trans-Siberian Orchestra selections (including Christmas Eve/Sarajevo and Wizards in Winter), the premiere of The Raleigh Ringers’ newest Rock ‘n’ Roll piece, and the traditional candlelit rendition of “Stille Nacht”. This year’s performances will be filmed by UNC-TV for a future PBS television special and second DVD.
