For beginning and intermediate students. Whether you’d like to create a self-portrait, a portrait of a loved one or a portrait of your pet, you will learn how to use Encaustic wax, paint and pastels in order to achieve a unique and life-like portrait. No drawing experience is necessary, as we will be using your printed images upon which to paint. We will cover safety issues, proper fusing techniques and different tricks to bring your portrait to life.
