BHM: First African American Woman gets Flight License
Watch as this manicurist turned into one of the most fascinating people in American history. She was told no, but refused to accept that her job as a manicurist would be her life's plan. While she was unable to train to fly in America, a French school would be her ticket. She raised money by working in a chili farm and taught herself French. As Black History month comes to an end, let us tip our hats to a small woman with big dreams. She wowed the world in the 1920's with her dare devil stunts.
