Q. Is FOX 50 available in High Definition?
Yes. You can watch FOX 50 in HD over the air on 50.1, on Time Warner digital cable 1150, DirecTV, Dish Network and AT&T Uverse. FOX 50 is also available on many other cable systems. Please contact your local cable system and ask how you can get FOX 50.
Q. Is FOX 50 on satellite?
YES! FOX 50 is available on both DirecTV and Dish Network in standard and high definition. Please contact either satellite company and ask about getting “local stations”.
Q: What is RTV and how do I get it?

Q: How do I get an event publicized?
If it’s a non-profit event or organization, simply click on "Community" on our home page, then select Calendar and enter your information. Please submit your non-profit events at least 4 weeks in advance. FOX 50 reserves the right to publish, edit or not publish any event.
Q. What are TV ratings?
The small box in the corner of your screen that appears during television shows. Every show has ratings based on age & content. Additionally, if your TV is equipped with the V-chip, the ratings allow for shows to be blocked that you deem inappropriate for your children. Q: What can I do to fix my "sound" problem on certain FOX shows?

The audio input on your TV may not be set correctly. Check to see if your audio channel is on SAP instead of STEREO or MAIN. The network provides a service to the entire country with a Second Audio Program (SAP) which offers shows in SPANISH as well as VIDEO DESCRIPTIONS FOR THE BLIND. Go to your TV remote and push the AUDIO INPUT button or the MENU button and then the AUDIO INPUT button. Change your Audio Channel to STEREO or MAIN.

Q: Does FOX 50 have internship positions?
FOX 50 (and all of Capitol Broadcasting) does not have a formal internship program. If any internships were to come available, they would be posted under the "Careers" tab on the CBC website. (Please don't contact the station asking about job openings; you will be refered to the website.)

Q. Why do you only run one NFL game some Sundays?
Under the terms of the NFL contract, FOX and CBS are limited to a total of three games every Sunday (except for the last week of the regular season.) On weeks when CBS has two, we have one. When they have one, FOX has two.
FOX 50 always has, and always will carry every NFL game we are legally entitled to carry.
